North Quay Associates Ltd was formed in July 2000 by ex-employees of P&O Ferries Ltd. Initially the company worked exclusively as stevedores for P&O Ferries providing manpower for a newly introduced night cargo handling service. This contract rapidly expanded to supplying personnel to work alongside P&O employees for the company’s daytime services.
In 2002, North Quay Associates Ltd secured a contract with Merchant Ferries to supply Tug Driving services and subsequently cargo securing personnel.
As these contracts grew in size and dimension, Dublin Ferryport Terminal Company was expanding and had identified a night shift Tug Driver requirement which North Quay Associates Ltd was able to satisfy.
Our focus on providing fully qualified, trained and certified personnel has enabled NQA to secure contracts with other companies operating in Dublin Port. These include, MSC Shipping, Hamilton Shipping, Celtic Link Shipping and Irish Ferries.
In 2007, North Quay Associates Ltd secured a contract with Seatruck Ferries to provide all dock personnel for their cargo and vessel handling requirements.
North Quay Associates Ltd are contracted with hamilton shipping to provide certified personnel to assist the cruiseline operations at Dun Laoghaire port.
Health and Safety
North Quay Associates Ltd, in maintaining compliance with all current Health and Safety regulations, implement their own safety procedures and carry out in-house risk assessments. Our training facilities are E.L.T.T.S. certified.
